UAV obstacle avoidance technology refers to the technology of obtaining surrounding environment information through cameras and other sensors to avoid collisions of UAVs.The basic principle is to process and analyze the collected images or sensor data to identify the obstacles in front of or around the drone,and calculate the route of the drone through an algorithm,so that it can autonomously avoid obstacles objects and continue flying safely.
UAV visual obstacle avoidance technology usually adopts the following methods:
Computer vision:By using the camera to collect images around the drone,and then process and analyze the images to identify the position and size of obstacles ahead.For example,machine learning algorithms are used to identify different types of obstacles,thereby providing more accurate obstacle avoidance guidance for drones.
2.Lidar:Lidar can scan the surrounding environment to obtain high-precision three-dimensional map information.Through processing and analyzing the map information,it can identify obstacles in front of or around the drone and calculate a safe flight route.
3.Ultrasonic sensor:The ultrasonic sensor can measure the distance between the drone and surrounding objects,thus helping the drone to avoid obstacles.Due to the low accuracy of ultrasonic sensors,they are usually used as auxiliary sensors.
